My daughter had a junior keeper half day experience. The staff in the gift shop were super friendly and helpful. Our keeper Danielle was lovely she was keen to explain and you could tell she had passion for her job. The zoo itself wasn't that busy. And alot of the animals were in their enclosures not hid. It was a great day out. Would definitely recommend.

Love Banham Zoo. Great day out, not too big to get round in one day but enough to do to enjoy several hours of wandering. Recently attended an animal talk (although we've been members for three years, we had not gotten round to this yet) which was fascinating: seeing the individual animals 'display', you could tell that the zoo have carefully worked with the animals involved to work with their own enjoyment of activities and rewards to ensure that the animals enjoy the 'work' and that the fun and education intent is maximised for delivery to the audience. Not impressed with the food offer sadly - had the pizza's once, about 9 family members ordered and some of the pizza's were burned, a couple of things didn't arrive and everything seemed quite haphazard. The staff were really apologetic when this was pointed out and explained that one of the pizza ovens had broken. The kiosk near the zebra seems to have been closed continually since last year, even on event days and special offer weekends, so the queues for a coffee or ice cream can be up to half an hour. Really love that we are continuing to animal conservation through our annual membership purchases, and the animals always seem very well cared for. Highly recommended.
