Bamburgh is a castle in a spectacular natural setting, on a cliff overlooking the North Sea. In 2023, fans of the Last Kingdom TV series are especially encouraged to visit to see the current exhibit on props and costumes from the show. We skipped most of the stately rooms but still found plenty to see for a multi-hour visit (since the castle grounds and medieval keep were both very cool). The tearoom was also fantastic with stellar tea service, exemplary handling of a dairy allergy, and tasty dishes.
