Overall I would not reccomend this company and I will not be using them again. Twice I have used Balustrade UK and the product itself is satisfactory - I've purchased a Balustrade kit, stainless steel Posts and glass. The customer service is abysmal. On my first order it took weeks to get the order complete and once delivered there were fixings missing - not the kind of thing you can pick up from Screwfix. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and used them again recently and it was even worse. Twice I was told a delivery date for the glass to arrive, on the second time even a 2 hour time slot was given. Both times it was a no show and the company wouldn't answer my phone calls. I spent the whole day waiting for this glass so I could finish the job so that was a complete waste of a day. After 8 un-answered calls I emailed the company expressing my disappointment and my desire for some sort of componsation for the wasted days work, I received a reply claiming the driver had tried calling (untrue) and because of that they couldn't make a delivery so should be charging me! Not one apology. Would not reccomend.

Absolutely awful experience. Everyone was happy to talk to me before I placed my order and paid my money but as soon as that happened the customer experience went out the window. Both directors rude as hell. Incompetent staff members who say they will do something but don’t. Had to chase etas 6/7 times before any information was given. Not explained properly about what extra is required because when I asked for a itemised quote Trevor told me ‘we don’t do quotes like that’ so when I received the parts to build this . I didn’t have everything I needed to complete the job the first time around. I was also told the drawing was going to be sent to me prior to the job date and that it would also be in the box with the posts. But it wasn’t and when I contacted Elizabeth to explain the issues I had around the whole experience she just said well sorry. I asked if there was any further assistance and she was rude and didn’t really want to help. Her response was ‘I spoke to Trevor and he told you everything you needed on the phone’ which isn’t handy advice for someone who is building this thing and not in the trade. Just bad all round
