Paul is totally incompetent in customer service. Never replies to emails nor answers the phone. Even when threatened with legal action - still no reply! I had to give 1 star but that is truly not deserved. The stand off's I was sent were the wrong dimensions and never received new ones since Paul disappeared from the face of the earth. Because of this I was left out of pocket! Safe yourself a lot of stress and shop elsewhere

Incredible customer service! I was let down by my local supplier - glass for juliet balconies had arrived on time but was told fixings would be 2 weeks late - we needed the glass to go up on time so contacted Balustrade Components. Paul was incredibly helpful and knowledge, gave my builder plenty of advice re the fittings and they arrived the following day so the glass was up on time!

I have used Balustrade Components twice now and both times I have experienced outstanding customer service. I have recently undergone a double storey extension in my home and required some steel components for glass to use as a barrier for the upstairs window as the windows are tall and I needed to install a presentation of falling measure there. I had no idea what components were required and if the part that I was advised to buy would even be suitable. I spoke to a team member named Paul and he was nothing but helpful, he placed an order and arranged delivery for one part for me to see if it was suitable, and the following week I ordered another 17. He was extremely helpful and patient with me as I am a complete novice in terms of DIY, and answered any questions I had for him. Two years down the line, I needed to know some more information about the parts I ordered and even though I did not order from Balustrade Components this time, John was still happy to help! I would highly recommend using Balustrade Components, as there are competitive companies everywhere but you can not buy great customer service, so thank you Paul!

My 1 star rating is because Paul is a really nice chap sadly the following service has been totally stressful. Paul seems to be running the business on his own whilst trying to be a councillor and run an installation business. I wonder how many of these businesses are falling short. Having places my order and received my posts trying to get the glass was very difficult I had to visit the office just to get a response. He then bumped the problem to a firm in Bristol and the cost increased by 50% and he still does not answer calls or deal with it properly
