My daughter and I have just completed a year of weekly baby squid lessons. It is the highlight of our week, even when returning to work I wanted to prioritise continuing our lessons. We swim at the maritime club in Portsmouth and Vicky is brilliant! She never fails to make us both laugh and the sessions are always fun and energetic. The children are always encouraged so that they make noticeable progress every lesson. The lessons have been brilliant for our daughter’s confidence around water which paid dividends in our family holiday. We love all the props and songs, we often sing them at bath time! Thank you x

Recently started lessons with Vicky as we moved home and really wanted to continue swimming. The Waterlooville pool venue is very warm, Vicky is a friendly and patient teacher, my LO has increasing been enjoying the songs and the play in water. More importantly this is helping her grow in confidence and learn techniques that are such an important foundation for future swimming, highly recommended

My son has just started his swimming lessons with Baby Squids and he loves them! He is now 4months old and is really enjoying his time in the water. The classes are well structured for babies as they provide safe swimming plus excellent sensory development that you can replicate at home. We are really excited to be continuing in the New Year at the new pool which is so close to home - the pool locations are excellent and very well considered for each area. Brilliant experience so far, highly recommended!

Me and my Son have been going to baby squids for a few months now at the Royal Maritime Club in Portsmouth and we have to say….’WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT’. Out of all the baby classes we do this had to be our favourite. My sons really coming out of his shell, meeting new babies and isn’t the tiniest bit afraid of water. They give you tips and ideas of what you can do at home (at bath time) and every lesson is full of songs, laughter and key skills for your babies. We even took some cute photos with props for Halloween. Baby squids not only gives your baby the chance to develop key swim skills, but teaches you safety, confidence and gives you a chance to make friends and lovely memories. I 1000% recommend.

My daughter has been attending baby squids swimming lessons for a fee terms now. Before attending here she attended a different swim school where she did not enjoy the lessons and spent the majority of the time either sat out watching or crying. Since joining baby squids at the Rachel Maddocks school she has been getting more confident, she now kicks her legs, trying to use her arms, participates in the activites. Her biggest fear was having to sit or stand on the big foam mat and this caused her massive anxiety every time however with the dedicated support and time the swim teachers have put in to her she successfully now not only sits and stands on it but will happily walk one end to the other. This may not seem like a big thing but this is a massive step for her considering just getting her into the water and trying to get her to join in a bit was very hard work. Thank you baby squids for all your work and i am so excited to see her continued development.
