Found two large terracotta pots on line at excellent price, so did click & collect. Upon collection I had to wait whilst assistant was answering query on headset (phonecall). Assistant who came into area did not offer help. Finally my pots were found, jammed into a shopping trolley, surely a flat bed trolley would have been better. One of the pots had evidence of careless painter with aone side covered in blue paint streaks. No apologies for state of pot, and no conclusion before she was on another call. I then waited to conclude. Overall a disappointment, capped only by the till breaking down and my wife who was buying additional items had to wait again in another queue.... Removing the paint wasn't as easy as I thought, and has to sand surface...should have been offered a discount perhaps. Couldn't blame the staff it was more operational issues and finally I felt sorry for till operative who was asked "when will you be getting long canes in again?" Although perhaps sending her to service desk would have been more help rather than "I don't know"....

Average store ,not the best in the area. More staff at tills are required. New Self service tills have helped improve checkout times, which is an improvement. Hedge End store is larger and usually better stocked . Spring and early Summer stock now in store.
