AXO new cross is located in a perfect spot, next to new cross station including rail train ( direct to go Tower bridge only 5-7mins) and orange overground (direct to Shoreditch). The surrounding is very safe at night. The staff are friendly and help me a lot. The accommodation is super safety and clean and the equipment is new. I stayed in the basement studio where is quiet. If you are students at Goldsmiths, you just need to spend 5 mins by walk to uni. If you are students at Greenwich, you just need to walk 2 min to bus stop and take 10 min to uni. There are 2 convenient stores next to AXO and a couple of good restaurants nearby. If you are Asian, you will find a good Asian supermarket named YIP, 5 min by walk. Here is a wonderful big park named Fordham Park, 5 min by walk, to go for a walk everyday. If let me choose again, I’ll I definitely choose AXO.

I wouldn't recommend to my worse enemy. Honestly if there was lower than one star that's what I would give this accommodation.They spontaneously decided that would turn off the hot water from 9am to 5pm every day and the maintenance guy told me "hot water is a privilege". The heating and hot water are interconnected so you can't turn the heating off, so the building is constantly boiling. The week-day receptionist is incompetent (the weekend one, Costina, is great though) . I asked her to send me my contract and she sent me a link to the Axo terms and conditions on the website...They registered my deposit under the wrong name and they told me it was in one company when in fact it was in another. And then they tried to blame me for their mistake. You're better off living further way and commuting.... I wish I had read the reviews before I decided to move here.
