FAQ
What is the minimum age for babies to start swimming lessons?
At Aweswim, we offer baby swimming lessons for infants as young as 3 months old. We believe it's never too early to start building water confidence and learning basic water safety skills. How many classes are included in each session?
Our swimming lessons are typically offered in sessions of 10 classes each. We find that this allows our instructors to build a strong rapport with each baby and their parents, and it gives babies enough time to start feeling comfortable and confident in the water. What is the instructor to baby ratio during classes?
We take safety very seriously at Aweswim, which is why we maintain a small instructor to baby ratio of 1:4. This allows our instructors to give individual attention to each baby and ensure that they are learning and progressing at their own pace. Are the swimming pools heated and sanitized regularly?
Yes, all of our swimming pools are heated to a comfortable temperature and are sanitized regularly to maintain a clean and safe environment for our babies and their parents. What is the refund policy for missed classes or cancellations?
At Aweswim, we understand that life can be unpredictable, especially with babies. If you need to miss a class, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to reschedule you for a make-up class. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for missed classes or cancellations.Reviews

Had another amazing swimming lesson with Sarah, friendly and chatty with us both again, so patient and caring with my 2.5 year old daughter. 4 sessions in and she has already built a strong relationship with her and my daughter has full confidence and trust in Sarah. Fully recommend aweswim.

Avoid like the plague. Parents not aloud to watch in person, instead sidelined to an outhouse to watch on a monitor. Watched in horror on a monitor as my 4 Yr old was left unattended in the pool with no flotation device, as teacher turned back on her to focus on another child. Within seconds our kid had started to try and paddle off on her own and got into distress and went under the water. No one was watching. We raced to poolhouse, by then teacher had noticed and pulled her out. Our kid distraught so were we. Teacher made excuses - 'I told her to stay still and not move...I've got 6 kids in the class and can't watch them all'. After making a complaint we were told by the manager Lou that 'she was only under for 3 secinds' as if that made it OK. Avoid like the plague, serious health and safety issues here. Kids are not safe, there is no management on site and teenage teachers unable to cope with the responsibility. We feel we had a lucky escape and our child didn't suffer lasting physical or psychological damage.

Amazing baby’s first swim lesson. Laura is so welcoming and really helped us feel comfortable. The changing facilities aren’t the greatest though, especially with a little one. Only 1 changing table for 2 Mums.
