The building work was conducted by local sub-contractors, all of whom provided quality building craftsmanship and where Andy would always manage to source materials whenever they were needed. This was a major work for us, removing block walls, enlarging existing aperture for new doors, moving electric meter box, removal and install of kitchen and appliances, removal of old boiler and relocation of a new one. Choosing a builder is difficult & we engaged a few. I was impressed by Andy from the get-go, he provided a detailed estimate & accepted a detailed written agreement in return. Started on time & progressed the work with his team. Good communication throughout ensuring that we were happy with the work. Payment terms were excellent with each stage completed before payment. A really trusting way to do business for us & we felt in control of the project. Standard of work was high, teams polite. Nothing was too much trouble, any problems along the way sorted with ease. In short, a really positive experience, we are very happy with the end product and I have no problem in recommending him to others.

Andy built a kitchen extension to the rear of my house and additional bedroom with en suite over my existing garage, plus some groundworks outside. From the start he was excellent, providing a competitive quote with a full breakdown of costs and materials. Throughout the build he kept us well informed of what was next, consulted often to ensure we were happy and accommodated all our changes. His workforce were great; they kept the place tidy, were always very polite, and all did an excellent job. Andy regularly inspected their work and where he wasn’t happy made sure it was corrected. As a result the build was finished with only a couple of minor snags. I’d thoroughly recommend Andy and his team. I’ve now asked him to do more work and their can be no better accolade than repeat business.

AW Builders constructed our double storey extension and turned what could have been a stressful time into an enjoyable time. The build was completed to a very high standard of workmanship and came in on budget and was a week earlier than the timeframe. Andy was very professional from start to finish and communicated regularly with us and his team showed great pride and professionalism throughout the build and was very respectful. I would 100% recommend AW Builders for any future construction work.

Andy and his team bent over backwards to complete our partial garage conversion kitchen extension in time for Christmas. 🎄👌 He kept us informed throughout the whole process, and proactively let us know whenever delays (e.g. the supplier of our French doors could only deliver them 2 weeks after expected) or additional costs (e.g. replacing our old consumer unit) cropped up. ✅ We are very happy with the end result (see after and before photos attached), and would be happy to recommend Andy to anyone (we have already done so to a couple of our friends). 😀👍

Absolutely fab !! Was extremely worried who to get to do our extension , Andrew made the whole experience stress free for us ,he listen to exactly what we wanted then talked us through the whole thing pointing out odd things that he could change slightly to improve the end product. Andrew was very up front with prices never doing anything unless he made us aware of the cost . There were no disappearing acts like so many builders if he said he was going to be there he would be there . So pleased with the end result !! HAPPY TO RECOMMEND!!
