As a formal pupil, I loved this school/college when it was called AVC (Avon Valley college) but now, now it's trying to look new and polished and yet it's actually done a reversed job, to me personally. The best times was when I was there and thankfully it didn't had that "academic academy upgrade" when I was there, now I hear stories of how bad it's gotten and the change over uniform is ridiculous. They should kept it as before.

Low stranded teaching in a school that the students run. Discipline is not a word this school understands. Teachers drawing wages paid for by the public they do not deserve.

As a former pupil years ago now in my 20's I have waited a long time to post my highly anticipated review of my old school. I thought it was good. Although I remember one time I was accused of starting a food fight that I wasn't involved in and given detention. had to write out lines. That's when I first discovered 'Copy & Paste' Great school. set me up for the far more brutal world of Adult Life. Although I do wish they had taught me what the hell taxes are.

In my opinion the behaviour of students is uncontrolled and school policies are not enforced as teachers appear to be more scared of pupils and parents. A description given by 1 child "as I like school because it's like youth club" ,I am looking into other schools for my daughter after just 2 weeks as she is complaining that she cannot concentrate in class as the other kids just throw stuff about and shout and the teachers cannot control them ,the teaching quality is very poor . i went to the school to have a talk with the head teacher for more information and he basically said that they try to enforce policies but if parents dont agree what can he do , the way some of the children were dressed i found shocking and the language is horrendous , i know others who have already removed their children after a week and bullying is quite an issue ,BE WARNED !!
