Promised yesterday delivery, then today? No show...... Disappointed beyond belief. Ended up in Lidl to buy wine to entertain guests. Company chased up my delivery & it arrived Friday pm. Better late than never! However, pleased with my purchase.

I spent quite a while choosing various wines and ended up with over £200 worth of wine in my basket. After this I noticed some wine seemed to have been incorrectly priced and so also subsequently added this to my basket. Today I have received an email cancelling my whole order. There was no apology relating to the “pricing issue” in the email and no question as to whether I still wanted the other correctly priced wines. Poor service and no attempt to retain the £200+ remainder of the order. Edit: The wines were dispatched to me and pulled when they were within 5 miles of my house despite having waited in to receive them as per the tracking info. No actual attempt to resolve the situation was made other than providing me with the £40 off voucher that was on the original order. Won’t be using Averys again due to the initial problem and the lack of proper resolution and having the audacity to recall the wine when it’s just about to be delivered. Buyer beware when things go wrong they go very wrong.

Avery's are just fantastic, deliveries always prompt and as promised. Any questions/queries regarding different wines speak to Abbi,she is a star! Always knowledge, informative and just comes across as a nice person. Ordering the wine is as good as drinking it!

Wine shop with wide collections of wines, choices for all wine lovers. Hall downstairs with Kitchen which can be rented to arrange events and parties, well maintained for a place with historical touch and stories. Kudos to Averys Team.

I've been coming here since the early 90s when no business trip to Bristol was complete without popping in to the (then) shop on Park Street for the gorgeous New Zealand white wines which up until that point, no UK distributor stocked. Ahead of the curve... as ever. Avery's excel at winkling out the unusual, at pocket friendly prices. I look forward to my three-monthly subscription case as there's always something in it I wouldn't have thought of to choose myself.
