We went to celebrate my friend 60th birthday at Avatar. We did requested few bits and bobs. They did more than what requested 😊😊😊. There were balloons and banners where our reserved table. Table was beautifully set up too. Very good service, very friendly staffs. Amazing food too. U should definitely try. Good atmosphere for any occasions too. There is parking space in the back of the restaurant too ☺️☺️☺️

This is quite a statement to make, but on Wednesday last week I had my single greatest curry ever. It was at Avatar. That's 35 years of trying various curry houses all over the Midlands. Fantastic food!

Extremely disappointed on this visit as we have thoroughly enjoyed previous nights here. Upon being seated were told the Banquet night meal was not available on a Music night. This has never been the case when we have been before on a music night. Also this was not made public in any menu or Music Night Advert. Our table was booked for 7pm and our food arrived at 9.10pm. Not the best service which is a shame as our previous visit had been brilliant.

The restaurant is conveniently situated with walking distance from the town centre. I had the lamb tikka breyani, which had just the right amount of spiciness and flavour, with the best tasting condiments, side dishes and extras, like nann breads, lime pickles, parpar and more. The service was really good without being in your face all the time. They offer a wide variety of Indian dishes spiced to perfection. I highly recommend Avatar.

Just came back from Avatar Dine to celebrate Birthday with family for the first time and can honestly say it was the worst vegetarian meal we have had at a restaurant at £40.00 a head. The service was disorganised and we requested mild food due to health reasons and received food with cream added to ALL of the dishes, so you could not taste the flavours of the different dishes and the food tasted bland and heavy. When we explained the issue to the waiter, his response was, the order taker had made a mistake and added cream to to the order. There was no mention of a refund on the dishes we could not digest, instead he suggested that the next time we tell the waiters not to put cream in the mild dishes. There will be no next time and I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone with a special dietary requirement. I have also contacted the person who recommended the restaurant that they are putting their reputation at risk. A simple gesture could have completely changed the atmosphere. The total bill was approx £140.00.
