I self published with Authoright/Clink Street and was the best decision I ever made! Excellent personalised service, great experience and advice, and launched me into a whole new world after the hugely successful launch and follow-up media work. Highly recommend!

I've now had two books published by Authoright - a third is in progress and will be published later this summer. Gareth and his team have been excellent. Being a first-time author at the age of 72, and with my very first full length book, Gareth was patient and helpful with my endless stream of questions and queries. The final paperback is of excellent quality, lovely feel to the cover and the e-book is easy to read via Kindle. When I initially told Gareth that I had five draft manuscripts for the 'Ian Caxton Thriller' series, he worked on producing a 'brand', so each book's cover would follow a similar design, image and a consistent theme. He also discounted the costs of my second and third books, plus he's also produced an excellent web-site for a reasonable cost. Authoright's pricing is flexible and reasonable. You only pay for the services you want. This is all discussed at the beginning, so no costly surprises at the end... and as the paperback books are 'printed on demand', there's no extra cost to the author for a minimum run, of say 500 books, like some other publishers insist upon. The only criticism I would make is that sometimes the company is not as swift as I would like with replies to some emails, but overall I'm certainly more than happy with the end result and highly recommend Authoright, particularly for first-time authors who need a helping hand and a step up from the time consuming tasks of self-publishing.

I have had a brilliant experience with Authoright. From the get-go they have been as interested in me as much as my writing. Admittedly as a first-time author, I was a little green in the process and well, the whole thing. I didn't need to worry - they guided me through every step with consummate professionalism coupled with a caring attitude for my work. They answered all of my [many] questions and where I had comments or requested changes, they accommodated that and gave me reasons why something might or might not work. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

My experience with the group at Authoright has been spectacular. I have quite an erratic schedule which they happily worked around. I personally have 0 experience with writing or publishing work and the team were more than helpful and dedicated to ensuring I was part of each and every step of the process and updated me constantly. I am incredibly happy with the end result and would recommend the company to anyone who needs a guiding hand in the publishing world.

Terrible Experience. Essentially there was no copy-editing: tens of typos were not spotted by their copy-editor. The cover was nice, but with flaws that I had to spot and point out to them. My book is a thriller, but they erroneously published it under non-fiction category “Mind, body & spirit”. Despite multiple requests to correct it, many retailers still have it under such wrong category. I simply gave up. I never received any royalties: the first statement was due in February, it’s now July and I haven’t received anything. After multiple requests, I’m involving a lawyer. Absolutely not recommended.

Would avoid. A lot of hot air they try to sell you - including actually listening to you as an author - but they don't actually listen. Would suggest all authors avoid. There are far better self-publishing services

Overpaid for very poor quality service and book print. I don't recommend their services as I was badly mistreated and purposely misled.
