It’s nearly 40 years since I bought a new system! Karl couldn’t have been more helpful. Incredible hi-fi knowledge. The quality of the resulting installation is absolutely superb. It’s rekindled my love of vinyl + brought me into the 21st century with an excellent Escape streamer. The ProAc speakers are a joy - fed by a Rega Brio amp & turntable (P6). Highly recommend AR to anyone upgrading their system.

I visited Karl at Audio republic in November. Sadly my NAD amplifier which I had purchased as a student on a tight budget 43 years ago was slowly disintegrating. I had a demo of a Rega Brio amp with a Rega Planar 2 turntable & Dali bookshelf speakers which was very impressive. I also had my own Rega 2 serviced and a new cartridge fitted but when I listened to my own set up back at home I decided my aging speakers needed upgrading as the new amp didn't seem to perform as I had hoped. I went back to Karl and asked for advice on a pair of floor-standers and came away with a pair of Dali Oberon 5's. For the money my system now sounds brilliant. It was a real pleasure to work with Karl who has such a passion for music and is encyclopaedic in his knowledge of h-ifi equipment to suit all budgets. He also showed great patience in answering all the questions I asked him! I would definitely go back to Audio Republic in the future.
