Worst customer service ever from Abdul. Very pushy to sell you a car without actually explaining different financing options or considering to discuss what is best for you. I was pressured to put a £500 deposit down on a car as a result of this sales man saying to me he will be “falling out with his colleague over a sale if this is not paid” very professional of you. When I asked further questions about the options I was told “you know already how this works” I was not keen on depositing on a car I have not seen yet. Sales man even said I cannot go back on my words and that I cannot come to see the car and say things like “the colour is not the best” ….. moral of the story, I’ve just bought the perfect car at another dealership with a higher spec and even a lower price :) Not sure if it was because I am a female and that he thinks he can manipulate me into a deal. But overall the worst experience and the salesman needs further training or a career change.

I recently placed a deposit on a Black 2018 Audi Q7 (JD18 JGD) which was on was for sale at Audi Aylesbury. At first I was dealing with a salesman called Tej who was very helpful and helped me secure the car. The car took a while to go through prep, but I felt like the car would be in great condition for when I picked it up. When I finally went to collect the car, it was left outside in the rain which now looking back I can understand why. The salesman I was dealing, Ian, moved the car into a cleaning bay and I dried the car off with a microfibre cloth which I had brought with me. My brother and I started to go around the car and found mark after mark. I was not expecting a brand-new car by any means but at £33,000 I was expecting it to be in reasonable condition. We found the following issues: O/S Dent and Scuff front wing. N/S Large scuff around 500mm which has broken the clear coat - Would most likely need repainting. Rear Bumper heavy marked with numerous defects including indentations and paint missing. Would need repainting and repairing. O/S Paint run to the front of the wing. O/S Sanding/Filler marks. The car has most of the O/S repainted. Numerous silicone marks (fisheyes) between 280um and 355um. O/S The car had been keyed at some point in its life, this hasnt been repaired correctly and the line can still be seen. (Front of O/S door to mid Rear O/S door) N/S 3 x Lower indention to sill and paint missing. Rear Bumper Diffuser clips broken and loose. Bonnet has had a smart repair at some point in its life, numerous silicone marks (fisheyes) and heavy marked. Marked interior trims - Can be replaced. White paint marks on the front seats and O/S Rear Very loose N/S seat net 3 X Marked alloys - These were due to have a smart repair but with diamond cut wheels this is far from ideal as you need to sand down the defect more aggressively than a professional refurb. This causes further issues down the line as you lose the ability to diamond cut the alloy again as only certain sections of the alloy have been cut back. The only way to rectify this is to buy a new alloy. I brought a few of these marks to the attention of the salesman who’s response was “It’s a 5 year old car”. I asked if the bumper could be repainted, his response was “I rather you sorted this out”. I felt like we were left to sort it out ourselves. There was 0 intentions from from the salesman to help or rectify any of the issues. Please also bear in mind that I viewed this in the rain, I suspect that if we viewed it on a sunny day, we would have found quite a few more defects. We have looked at a couple of 2016 plate Q7s at a carsupermarket and both were in considerably better condition than this car. It’s a real shame as it’s a great specification but overall it just hasn’t been looked after or cared for. We went back inside to tell the salesman we were not going to proceed with the car. This was dismissed very quickly. 10 days later I still do not have my £599 deposit back. Overall, the worst car buying experience I have ever had. A day that should have been filled with excitement was instead one of disappointment.
