Had a couple of hours there, had a snack in the cafe (a bit expensive) . The hides needed a code to enter which you scanned with your phone and filled all your details in. Car park costs £3 for the day.

I am a member of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust and Attenborough Nature Reserve is the Trust's flagship reserve. I have been exploring the reserve for over 50 years. The addition of the Centre just over a decade ago was a real bonus. I am in the habit of going to the Centre every Sunday morning for a bacon butty and an Americano. To sit on the balcony and watch the ducks, geese and swans on the lake is marvellous when the weather is good, and you still have the view through the café windows when it isn't. There's plenty for kids to explore, a well stocked shop, and wildlife artwork on display. And after I have enjoyed the café in the Centre I take 2-3 hours exploring the reserve and photographing the varied wildlife as it changes through the seasons. This is one of my favourite places, and I am very fortunate to live only a couple of miles away from it.

The scenery was amazing around the centre, there is a very nice gift shop with items for all ages. There’s a surprisingly large range of food and drinks. The 2 times I’ve been, the food is lovely. Staff also great. Highly recommend
