Really disappointed. Have used before and was pleased but gone down hill. Took 2 months to re heel and sole my Barkers and Cheyney shoe boots, have had them back two weeks and one heel just fell off and the other going the same way. Both repairs look rushed. No response to several emails sent. No other way of contacting them. Poor service, poor craftsmanship. Will not use again.

Attards resoled a pair of Churches boots for me - that not even the factory shop back in Northampton were able to repair. He's fastened them on using a secure Dunlop welt and now they're as good as new. From initial contact, through to posting them back to me he was professional and speedy. Highly recommend

When Duckers' of Oxford closed their doors without selling on the lasts I was in need of a high quality shoe repair service. The Brogue Trader directed me to Michael Attard. I have just had my first pair returned from repair and the workmanship is outstanding. Consequently Michael will be getting all my business from now on. After reading the reviews, I sent a pair of Cheaney’s for sole & heel repair from London, opting for Dainite. Although the lead time was longer than expected (3-4 weeks), the quality of the repair is the best I’ve seen. I will be re-using Attard’s, and strongly recommend.

Michael did a fantastic job replacing my worn out Grenson leather soles with a red Dainite. The overall service was first class! The refurbishment took no longer than 2 weeks and the finish is better than any other cobbler I've used. I strongly recommend Attard's for any premium shoe repairs. Many thanks to Michael once again.

I live in Spain and have several pairs of Church shoes, some of which were older and needed sole replacement. The only good option here would have been to bring them to the Church store in Madrid which would have been a pricey option with a long wait. Goodyear welted restoration did a great job on the two pairs I sent them which are now almost like new! And for a much more reasonable price. Michael and his team were very kind to look for the best shipping options and the whole thing including shipping to and from took about a month. I would recommend them highly.

The communication was poor and the shoes have come back with numerous cuts and deep marks to the leather uppers, the work looks generally poor and rushed. Not worth £89.00.

Very quick turn around and a high standard if work. A couple of exposed stitch ends, but they may wear off once I use the the shoes on anything slightly abrasive (Barker) The new JR sole looks very impressive, high quality leather. The web site is very easy to use and my overall impression of the service was excellent.

Second pair I've had repaired, this time a pair of Charles Tyrwhitt Chelsea boots. I had leather soles replaced with Dainite (in anticipation of winter weather) and wasn't sure how they'd look. Needn't have worried, they came back looking factory fresh. Once again, excellent work and service.
