Just bought a D37 with the aged lacquer finish. Best guitar I've owned, so much so that I literally came back from the Atkin purchase and put my Santa Cruz, Lowden, and Guild acoustic up for sale. Stunning sound -- rich, full, dynamic, and oh so loud. What a gem. Get 'em while you can as these are sure to take off.

I've had my J43 since July 2018. Since then I've done at least a couple of hundred solo gigs with it and have taken it to loads of open mics etc. It's totally awesome! The pickup originally installed (an under saddle Fishman piezo) has worked flawlessly and always sounds amazing (I know - a piezo!). PA guys say it the easiest guitar to eq. I have a number of great guitars to use but keep coming back to it for live gigs. The guys at Atkin are always helpful - top notch customer service! Happy to be an Atkin user :-)

After 7 years of not playing due to an accident and surgeries on my hand I was finally able to pick up the guitar again a month ago. Since I only have my old richwood (first guitar) I wanted to check out some good guitars to save up for. Today I went to TFOA to try guitars in the 500-1200 range, then I tried the Atkin om 37 and I Literally cried a little. You guys make the perfect instrument! I'm going to save up for it the coming years but she's the one!

I purchased An Atkin essential D and it is by far the best acoustic guitar I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Alister has really tapped into something special in his production techniques, his guitars sound incredible and have a vibe and feel like no other I have played. He and his team are building some fantastic guitars, I can't recommend them enough!

Today I had the privilege of buying my dream guitar the OM essential at TFOA Thank you for building this great guitar!!!!..................... ... After the euphoria of buying my dream guitar, I saw a few issues that I didn't like. I had asked aktin trough e-mail for an opinion whether what I saw would cause problems, but unfortunately no message back, I was very disappointed. I was wondering, if you are such a passionate guitar builder, let me know, it is about a product that you have built with love. or does that only apply if your name is Dolly Parton. All in all I think Atkin are beautiful guitars, there is no doubt about that. But not my cup of tea, I am happy to be back with the Martin family.
