I have returned to ATH training for my third renewal of my paediatric first certificate. I have completed the blended course. I love the flexibility of doing it this way. 6 hours at home using the online videos and then the practical learning in a classroom setting. Bit shout out to Steph who I have had for my last two classroom training sessions. She is wonderful, great teacher, funny and always has time for your questions and has some great stories to tell!

Highly engaging trainer, good resources, well-worth the money. I’ve struggled to engage with First Aid training in the past; the theory in a classroom environment just sends me into ‘distracted’ mode, where any and everything is more interesting than what I’m supposed to be learning! The online training allowed me to work when I was focused, and therefore more knowledgable for the day of practical work. As a teacher myself, I could see the strategies the trainer, Stephanie, deployed to keep the class focused and motivated. There was time spent on group work in breakout sessions, teacher-led Q&A, plus plenty of different practical tasks with repetition of key components to aid deep learning.
