Very welcoming hosts, made me feel really at home as did staff. Nicely decorated and comfortably furnished rooms, with en suite, access to laundry facilities and a pleasant outside sitting area. Having use of a kitchen was great. It was quite a narrow space but I'm sure the hosts would find a way to resolve it if someone felt a guest hadn't been helpful about sharing, since they were very kind and helpful. I enjoyed the area - easy access to station and town centre and to the gorgeous Common. Friendly local cafes, pubs and take aways, as well as supermarkets and a great bus service. My five week stay (helpfully extended to six at short notice when needed) was very enjoyable.

Good budget accommodation in the heart of Southampton. Comfortable and well serviced, with all you need. Self catering so be prepared, but there is a large co-op and plenty of takeaways and restaurants within walking distance. Be aware of who you're sharing with, as some guests hog the shared kitchen!
