1st time, came for partners school reunion. Rooms are clean & spacious, staff are warm & friendly. Breakfast for the price can't argue with & is lovely. Only downside is no tea /coffee facilities in room which let's it down although you can from bar which is a pain. But apart from that can't fault the Aston Manor.

The manager is not very welcoming, and the bed is very old so there is no good night sleep there at all, I will I got a picture so you all can see it, but it is that bad that I left in such a hurry, I don’t advice anyone to book a stay in this hotel anytime soon 😒

Avoid at all cost!!!! I have never visited such a horrible place and trust me I’ve seen a lot…. 5 minutes into my stay I decided to check out, dirty, smelly, disgusting, staff was rude when I complained, please avoid at all cost. The mattress probably was glorious back in the days when Margaret Tatcher was running the country. Stains on the walls looking like vomit, unidentified stains on the carpet, hair in the bathroom and bedding, my skin is crawling thinking about this place. you should be ashamed for charging £60 a night!!! I swiftly booked a room in another hotel (I will not use the name so you won’t say that I’m supporting competition) and finally after a long shower I’m better, side note the hotel I booked was £64,60!!!! Shame on you, this placed should be shut down and demolished

My apologies for this review, but I have never stayed in place like this. I understand the ideology of a basic room, but this experience was totally awful. We stayed in room 31. Sheets and towel were clean, but otherwise.. Oh dear. The mattress was probably 20 years old and we did not manage to get any sleep. Bathroom floor had so much pubic hair that I did not dare to use it or put my feet on either the carpet or the bathroom floor. The room was very hot and stuffy ( no fan in the bathroom) so when we opened the window we heard nothing but cars speeding overhead. We payed over £100 plus £8 parking fee. I'm sure we could find something much better for this price, and we shall do so. PLEASE PLEASE at least change mattresses as NO ONE deserves to sleep on your cutter once. Thank you 🙏🙏

Can completely understand why you'd love this place if you're an Aston Villa fan as it is nearby to the stadium. Can't fault our welcome upon arrival but, after that, it was very disappointing. The bed so was uncomfortable and left me with a bruised knee as one of the springs had stuck into my leg during the night. Amenities are very basic. Breakfast service on the 2nd morning was less than friendly. Lots of sticky surfaces and a strange smell.

Great place for a drink before & after Villa games, excellent entertainment with brilliant live bands & DJ, friendly atmosphere, friendly bar staff who work really hard. Walkability: 5 min walk to Villa Park. Food & drinks: Reasonable price on drinks, worth every penny with the entertainment you get.
