COMPANY HAS CHANGED SINCE MERGER!!!! We used Davis Memorials previously for a new headstone some twenty eight years ago & again five years ago for the update on a parents in-law headstone. We welcomed the professional services of this company from previous experience. Sadly my father passed away and my wife recommended Davis yet again to install a new family headstone, This time however we found Davis has merged with Ashills memorials in Leamington Spa and thought nothing would change. "How wrong we were!!" From the very start communication was pretty good, my 50% deposit was paid start of Jan 2023, we were then advised around mid march 2023 for install. From that point onward, communication became virtually none existent, It was me having to email or call continually contact them for updates. Excuse after excuse was given for delays and I was getting rather fed up until the headstone was pushed through and installed later than promised around Mid May 2023. On my original email order explaining what words to be engraved requesting a certain font to be used and engraved picture of a selective type to be engraved. What we finally received was only a fraction of what was required and instructed, for example: words where correct, however font was totally wrong and lettering far too big, picture of thistle was engraved good, but far too small at 3 inches tall. we required 6/7 inches tall so it could be seen. I paid the invoice under protest in full requesting a call back from management to discuss our entire family upset, they have continually ignored our emails and messages considering they are suppose to be a sympathetic business in a sad time of life & distressing industry. Since the merger, I have found the joint company unsympathetic, unprofessional and uncaring to say the least....SHAME ON THEM!!! Would I use this company again, NEVER AGAIN!! Would I recommend this company, certainly NOT!!

Astill did the headstone for my late father, 100% recommend them, great service from start to finish and even when the bill was paid they called to see if everything was OK. Headstone looks amazing and really pleased great job!!!!

After the sad loss of my Mum in August 2020, my Mum always wanted to be put with my brother if anything happened to her, so we needed to replace his headstone to one for them both.
