Joanne and Richard are nice people and a good agency . They helped me find a room at short notice. Joanne came to the student house towards the end of the tenancy to our student house to give us suggestions on cleaning so that there wouldn’t be deposit deductions, which was very useful. In the end, my deposit was returned in full.

Joanne and Richard are great Landlords and both have been very friendly and reliable despite the uncertainty brought by the pandemic. The houses are offered at affordable prices for students, are maintained at good standards and come along with quick support if any issue arises or repair works need to be scheduled. Also as an international student securing my accommodation through virtual tours was really helpful and the procedure for signing the contract run smoothly.

Do not use if you ever want to see your deposits again! Not only did we get charged for cleaning of a house which we left in good condition (a total of 285 pounds), Joanne was rude and unprofessional. As a result of COVID they refused to allow us to see the house with them when leaving and have therefore used it as an excuse to excessively charge us for cleaning, which they are unable to prove with pictures. With average, at best, properties, poor communication and sneaky underhanded tactics to steal students deposits I highly recommend to avoid!

Horrible agency managed by disorganized people: they didn't answer to mail or phone when we needed them and tend to keep a big slice of the deposit even when the house is left way better than when we moved in. After 5 months of fighting to get our brick barbecue fixed we just gave up because they refused to buy a new one. They are also very disorganized and unreliable on dates and times. they also result totally out of reach during weekends and holidays.
