I really enjoyed this tour. Appreciate the effort provided by the volunteers. Very good background knowledge of York and i learned a great deal of historical facts. A walking tour lasting around 2 hours bear in mind you will be stopping and the tour guide will explain the importance of the site etc which can last around 10-15 minutes. You get to walk on York wall which i always wanted to do. Very friendly team.

Totally free tour that departs up to three times a day from this meeting point. Tour lasts around two hours and ends up in the Shambles. Guides really know their stuff and have an obvious love for the city. Great way to get your bearings if you are going to spend anytime in the city.
