Great new leisure centre with lots of facilities and right in the park with fab views and walking opportunities. Lots of free parking, friendly staff and a nice little cafe. My children love coming for the climbing wall and swimming.

The building and the pool are brilliant but there is one big oversight and that is the fact that they have no mother and baby parking spaces which is really odd for such a family orientated space.

Aspire have taken on too many memberships. It's proving difficult to get into the gym or pool at times that fit my schedule. I originally thought this would die down after the new year but it is getting worse. On top of all this they've raised the monthly cost despite saying when I signed up in November that there were no plans for it to go up any time soon. Facilities are ok when you're not fighting to get on a machine but I've payed less and had more choice living in other cities.

Sometimes I wonder if this really belongs to the council or is part of a gym enterprise. Great modern facilities all round

I absolutely love this place, love the classes, the only problem, is that there isn’t enough of the same classes on, and also the day you turn up to a class, you can automatically rebook for next week, which doesn’t give other people a chance of trying that particular class out. I’m constantly checking my phone to see if spaces are available, and not everybody knows what they are doing weeks in advance. Sometimes classes are fully booked a week in advance, it’s not really fair to be honest. Like I say though I really do love this place, just wish they had more classes on to make it more fair. Love swimming here, only issue is, that the lockers haven’t all got a key bracelet, some only contain the key, wish is quite more, considering you need to keep the key with you, it’s not only a few lockers either, please could you look into getting this fixed, thank you.
