Just had solar installed by ASK. Brilliant experience from day 1. Enquired online an then had a call from Tom who arranged to come and do a much more detailed survey than the other companies I had to quote. Great report and no pressure to buy at all. When we decided to go ahead the communication from the office staff was great. Then had a call from Ed just before installation to suggest a slight change as he thought it would be better for us (and was cheaper). Then came the day of installation. 3 guys (apologies can't remember their names) 2 roofers and an electrician. All incredibly polite, pleasant, explained what they were doing. Extremely tidy and neat work, I had no clearing up afterwards. Since then had communication with Samantha and Tony in the office. Again both incredibly friendly and helpful. Tony helped me through what I needed to know and now booked in an hour with him to go through making the most of the app. I can honestly not praise this company enough and would recommend to anyone. I'm very pleased with both the Solar PV system and the service. Right from the start they were friendly and informative. Matt from Ask Renewables came out to talk about the product and do a thorough in-person assessment of our house (other companies I contacted only used Google Earth to provide an assessment). Matt was very accommodating and responsive to all the questions and issues I raised, with no pressure at all to push to a sale. The fitting team were also quick and tidy. I've also received friendly follow-up calls to check that everything is running smoothly from a personal point of view, as well as checking the functioning of the system online. Overall a 5 star experience!

Having had 3 quotes already, I chose ASK because: 1. They sent a Surveyor, not a Salesman. This allowed an innovative solution to my roof I had not previously considered. 2. They've been in business for over 10 years. If you check on Companies House, this is uncommon with the recent boom in 'solar experts', giving confidence that ASK really are solar experts. 3. They quoted for a modest amount of hardware - some firms were quoting 1.5x the equipment, whereas ASK worked with me to optimise my investment. The installation was completed within 2 weeks of order, I am very pleased with the solution and the aftersales support has been impressive. Highly recommended.

We have just had our solar and battery system installed by Ask Renewables. Prior to ordering our system we had several quotes from other companies, it got very confusing, I was told different information on what the best array configuration and system would be best for our property from each company. I then came across Ask they seemed to have very good reviews so requested a quote, what a breath of fresh air, Matt came out for the initial survey then went away to work out the best system for our needs and budget. I am so glad I accepted the quote and used Ask to fit my solar system they have been fantastic from start to finish. The price was reasonable with no pressure to buy, all my questions were answered promptly and professionally and the system they designed for me just made sense compared to some of the other advice I had been given, there is definitely a lot of cowboys jumping onto the solar bandwagon. The system was installed on the date I was given by Dino and his team who were polite, friendly and worked hard and finished the Job within the day Brilliant service !! I was then showed how to work the app, they didn't leave until they were sure everything was up and running smoothly. I would have no hesitation recommending Ask to anybody thinking of a solar system, I am highly delighted with the service they have provided five stars from me Thank you to Matt, Sam, and Dino and everyone involved I'll be in touch when I'm ready to upgrade my battery to a larger capacity.

We had a really good experience with this company after a long and drawn out process of trying to find a decent company to install a solar PV and battery system. We had a number of false starts and bad experiences with other companies and almost gave up entirely until we came across ASK Renewables on Which? Trusted Traders. There are a lot of dodgy pop-up companies in this space who employ (probably) ex-double glazing salesmen who will just lie to you to get a sale (don't trust any company that advertises on Facebook!), but ASK were a breath of fresh air - totally honest at every stage and very, very thorough. The quote was also extremely competetive. I wouldn't hestitate in recommending this company to anyone considering having a solar PV system installed.

A neat and tidy, very professional job from the fitters and electrician.
