My mother spent the last 3 years of her life at Ashurst Park Care Home and I have to say, I cannot thank the staff enough for the love and care she received there. My mum considered Ashurst Park her home and I was glad she was there and not in hospital when she passed away in December 2022.

My Gramps has been living at Ashurst Park for nearly 2 months now and it’s genuinely such a lovely place. It is always absolutely spotlessly clean. The food looks and smells lovely, you know it must be when the staff eat it too! The bedrooms are a nice size with plenty of storage. The staff are absolutely amazing! Jomina has been incredible and nothing is too much trouble. Gilbert is amazing with Gramp’s health. Febin always has a funny story to tell us about what Gramps has been up to. And Mike and Olivia are just amazing at arranging stuff to do and keeping the residents entertained! There’s always something going on with live music, quizzes, painting, drawing and bingo! Me and my husband have ended up joining in a few times as they make it so fun! Thank you all for taking such good care of Gramps!

The staff at Ashurst Park have been looking after my father with great care and attention. They have worked very hard and successfully to accommodate his needs. I am extremely grateful not only to Jomina, Gilbert and Angela but to the whole team who have been unfailingly kind and courteous.

The staff here are really fantastic. They are very caring and the home manager is very ‘hands on’ and active. Everyone I speak to in the home takes the time chat and the residents are well cared for. I would definitely recommend this home for your loved ones.

When my husband had to enter Ashurst Park Care home I was devastated. Although, the home had come highly recommended I was still nervous. The staff, especially the care manager Jomina and assistant care manager Gilbert, made a terrible situation so much better. Since then their care and attention to my husband has been faultless.

AVOID AVOID. PLEASE if you have a relative and are considering this place, then walk on by. After just three weeks we removed my grandparents. Their conditions had deteriorated considerably. Additionally they had gained new injuries from their time here. This place nearly killed them in the short time they spent here. This the type of place you read about and dread. The rooms are horrible and feel like cells. Both grandparents recoil in horror at the mention of the name. I think that says enough. Very sad. This is a farm for the elderly an industrial battery farm. Update in response. I assure you it is the same place. Near Tunbridge Wells. I spoke to my relative through a window as the home was in lockdown when I visited. The home had managed to have an outbreak of covid. This terrible experience happened in January/February 2021. My grandmother was only a resident for a matter of weeks.

My Mum lived at Ashurst Park Care Home for just over 2 years, she was completely immobile and had to be hoisted between bed & chair. During her time here she came to view the staff as friends, they treated her respectfully and with friendliness. We as relatives were always made to feel welcome and the staff always had time to answer any questions we had. Mum never wanted to go into the lounge and spent her time in her room and the staff always popped in regularly to have a chat with her and see if she needed anything. Having experienced other care homes with other relatives, I know that not all care homes are of the same standard, but I would highly recommend Ashurst Park Care Home to anybody considering options for their loved ones.
