Thank you Ashtons. About three months after we decided to purchase the property, we successfully received the keys to the new property. They are very professional. The agent not only follows up and asks about our situation, answers our questions, but also introduces a professional team of surveyors and lawyers, which makes our property handover very smooth. I purchased a property through Ashtons in December 2022. It has been an extremely unsatisfactory process and I will explain why: A Rightmove listing is a legal document and once it is edited to Sold - STC, the listing cannot be edited unless the new owner requests this on completion. I saved the link and documented information as this was especially important to be, as the purchaser of a brand new property. The Rightmove listing included four untruthful statements, which included information about the wrong Code of Conduct in which the property is covered under warranty; it was published for six months before changing to Sold - STC. This is extremely serious as it misled me to believe the property had protections that it simply does not have; it is in breach of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulation 2008, due to negligent misrepresentation. Upon contacting Ashtons they have put this down to "clerical error" and refuse to aid me in resolving a number of issues that I am facing due to their untruths. Further to this, the communications are intimidatory and not in keeping with the frameworks that protect consumers when purchasing properties.

He also accommodated few extra visits at the property before the purchase was finalised. This allowed me to select the right building company which was supposed to start the work immediately after the contract exchange. Communication was great throughout the process.

Amazing service. My partner and I felt very reassured and comfortable throughout the whole process. Any questions or concerns we had were answered and dealt with swiftly. Isabel was incredible and we just want to thank her for being so attentive. Before we signed for this property we had been set on a different property with a different agency, but we were not as happy with the servce given by the other agency. In comparison after meeting with Isabel at the Ashtons property, we sent an application in immediately as she was incredible throughout the whole process and the property was great too.

Absolutely appalling letting service. No repairs carried out over more than 2 years despite all defects being reported but all done once the tenancy was over. Letting manager then repeatedly lied to try and make deductions from the deposit - a firm to AVOID
