Had bloods taken 4 weeks ago. Rang up Monday and got told the results came back ages ago...clearly no-one could be bothered to ring me. Got told I would get a call on Tuesday...no call. Rang up Thursday to say I still haven't had anything "oh I'll sort it so the results go on your account"....still nothing and no follow up phone call from a doctor. In what world would a patient NOT want their blood results...?! Awful doctors practice. Will be searching for a new one and I'd tell everyone else to do the same

I have been with this surgery for a few years, from before they merged three practices into one. It's possible this is how all GPs are now but it's only got worse and worse as the years have gone on. For a while you could only get an appointment by ringing at 8am on the dot and hoping desperately to get through; it then changed to needing to fill out an online form (very difficult to find on the website) and waiting for a call back; now the online form is only open at certain times on certain days. I won't go into how inaccessible this is. You get the impression that they are trying their hardest to discourage you from seeing a GP. Their Facebook page used to get a lot of complaints in the comments but they have now disabled comments on their posts. Most staff here are good, but I have rarely seen the same GP twice as there's no continuity of care and you can't choose who to see. I have no connection with any of them. They used to have a Pride in Practice award but no longer, and due to connections I have I know that the PiP team have reached out to them a few times without success. I don't recommend this practice.

Not even worth one star. Worse thing ever amalgamating to become Ashton medical group. Can never get appointments, only ever referred to online consult ! Glad I moved. Seriously needs a shake up

Absolutely awful practice, rude staff and impossible to get an appointment. Called today for an appointment for my little girl only to be told the doctors don't do same day appointments anymore and that everyone has to go through online consultation which can take 48hrs for a response. Basically they want my daughter to be in pain for 2 more days before they will consider seeing her or I should go to the walk in centre at the hospital (i thought hospital services were over stretched already?!!). My advice choose another practice I will be doing so!

Worst gp practice I’ve ever registered at. Rarely need GP advice and when I do they make you fill out a form online which has a 2 day response time and the form doesn’t even work but they won’t let you ring up and book!

Unfortunately, the receptionist on duty today was appalling. Obstructive, unfriendly and never cracked a smile. Gave the impression she really couldn't be bothered. Don't know her name, but she was young, with inflated lips. A real shame as previously, receptionists have been very good here. I was so upset with her attitude that I had to leave as was clearly getting nowhere. I then rang a few moments after leaving the surgery and spoke to Debbie, who was lovely and helpful. The phone service frequently doesn't function adequately. It gives a list of options but they often don't work. Not possible to book appointments over the phone, a problem for those who don't have internet access. Receptionists are generally very good, a couple in particular have gone out of their way for me, including calling me back after surgery has closed and filling in a form that I wasn't able to do myself.
