Had a private appointment made with one of the orthopedic consultants. Appointment was cancelled day before. I rebooked for the following week, and again, appointment was cancelled the day before with no reason given. I was then told I had to wait another two weeks. Ridiculous. NHS seems to be faster and more reliable than this place. My advice, AVOID

I had cataract surgery earlier this week and the service I received exceeded my expectations. From the moment I entered the hospital. The place is spotless, the receptionist was polite and welcoming, The room I was shown to was again spotless with all you needed prior to the surgery. Everything was then fully and clearly explained to me of the procedure to follow . I was then taken to have the surgery and the whole team were professional, put me at ease and took me through everything as the surgery took place.back to the room the food that I had ordered arrived immediately and was delicious. Congratulations Ashtead I can,t see how you can improve your service as it was perfection in my ( no pun intended! )eyes. Thank you.

Fantastic care here following bariatric surgery. Jo Houghton the bariatric nurse specialist is so caring and professional and any concerns were quickly ironed out. Mr Reddy has done an excellent job as I've had no pain whatsoever! The ward staff were also wonderful , and my care was faultless.

I had an ACL reconstruction at Ashtead Hospital and I couldn't be happier with the time I spent there, the staff were all great, the nurses were all really nice and attentive and spoke through everything in great detail prior to leaving. The rooms were clean, private and the food was also surprisingly nice. Only reason I have given a 4 star is I feel I wasn't offered every type of surgery equally and the surgeon had largely made up his mind on his preference of surgery, although, I would say I haven't had issues with the surgery choice.

I had weight loss surgery in Ashtead with Omar Khan (mini gastric bypass). Everything was very smooth and I have no complaints at all, care at the hospital was great and aftercare has also been great. I would highly recommend the surgeon and the hospital.

Going to the doctor or the hospital can be quite awful for some. Seeing the friendly staff as you walk in, one immediately feels a little more relaxed. The place was immaculate - not that we expect anything less but it's comforting to know that if they take such great care of their facilities how much more will they take care of your loved ones. Hopefully I won't need to make use of their services anytime soon but if I had to, this is one place I wouldn't mind relying on.

From the very start to the finish my Mother and I would like to thank everyone at Ashtead Hospital for organising and especially Mr Cobb for giving her a full replacement knee. For eight months my Mother couldn’t walk for more than 100 or so yards and now she is back to normal life! Thank you so much!
