I’ve just given birth to my first baby girl a month ago and all I can say is that the entire experience was brilliant, from booking in my first appointment with midwife Madeleine at 9 weeks, throughout my pregnancy, leading to my beautiful home birth and post natal care. I felt listened to, supported, Madeleine had so much knowledge and enthusiasm to share. I felt uplifted after every appointment, even on the days I didn’t feel so good to begin with and my home birth experience was absolutely beautiful. I would 100% recommend private midwives to any expectant woman 😊

I cannot begin put into words the standard of care I have received through Private Midwives Ireland in choosing to birth my second and third babies at home. Our midwife Ann is beyond professional, empathetic, and has become an honorary family member. The guidance we have receive navigating both pregnancies and the empowering birth we had (and know we will have again) is second to none. Cannot recommend PM enough! Planned a homebirth with them in 2020 during the height of COVID. The care I received was incredible and showed me the value of having continuity of care. We built a wonderful relationship with Gail and although I had to transfer to hospital during Labour, she was there for me at the end of the phone offering support and advice. I also had a week postnatal care which was amazing and meant I could get an early transfer home from the hospital. I would highly recommend private midwives
