My brother Robert Smith went into Ashley Lodge for end of life care. I can't speak highly enough about the high standard and level of care that my brother received. The friendly staff were so caring and treated my brother with absolute respect, compassion and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely staff, lovely chef and lovely Home Manager Jess. Thank You for looking after my brother so well you took a big weight off of my shoulders knowing he had this fantastic care.

I visited with my partner. The staff were all very precessional, kind and caring during our visit. I hadn’t appreciated how much effort it is for them to prepare for visitors, but they made the process as seamless as possible and were very happy to see us. Our Covid tests were checked on arrival (by showing the date on the NHS email we’d received that morning). Our temperatures were checked. We were then given a big plastic box each that had a disposable mask, gloves and apron in for us to put on before we entered. Once we were in the reception a member of the team picked up 2 chairs for us that had a label with ‘clean’ written on them. He then took us to see our relative and laid the chairs out for us to use. Our relative says he is really happy there. The room and everything else we saw is maintained to a high standard and the other members of the team we spoke to (eg the lady who brought round the afternoon coffee and cake for our relative) was also very kind and professional. I cannot recommend this Care Home enough. The Staff headed by the wonderful Jessica all show brilliant empathy diligence and compassion. I could not have entrusted my 90 year old Parents care to a better crew. We were so glad to have found you.

Had a little incident happen with my grandma getting lost and the wonderful staff here took her in, made sure she didn't leave until next of kin arrived to take her home 😁. They were absolutely amazing and so caring, making sure she had a cuppa. Their investigation to find one of us through Facebook was much more helpful than the police ♥️. Can't recommend a more caring, helpful place filled with incredible staff. It's a miracle they kept her safe.
