I dont want to leave any stars for this place, they are horrible! They called me yesterday to tell me i have to bring in my son, they will have a look at him as he is suffering from tonsillitis but the doctors was fully booked. Told him that we are going to SA can i bring him im in the morning before we fly, my husband took him this morning and the person who is doing the prescription is not in? So my quetion to this pharmacy is why the F@#& did you tell me to come in then! I think they need to learn how to communicate properly!!!

I received a call from them 2 days ago for an antibiotic prescription. When I was asked about allergies, I did say I had G6PD deficiency (blood condition) so certain medications can trigger haemolytic anemia, which can make me end up hospitalised and even require a blood transfusion. However, according to the medication label I was given, it is contraindicated against blood disorders, and there is a risk of inducing severe anemia in people with my condition. They had already closed, and I was feeling so poorly with fever and aches that I had to take the risk of taking those antibiotics anyway to get through the night. I did call today in order to make them aware of their mistake, and according to them I did not state any allergies. I asked them to listen to the call recording as I am 100% sure I said it, and they do not record any calls. I do not understand why they say I didn't say anything, they did not apologise or took responsibility of their mistake. Also tried to correct me in regards to anemia (asking if I had anemia, when I was saying that can be severely triggered by their medication) and my condition. I felt they did not want to take any responsibility or assume their mistake, even if my intention was to make them aware of this condition. Even if my accent can be harder to understand, it is vital to understand allergy information.

I have been with this pharmacy for a very long time, it used to be good but lately it can hit or miss, I asked about a health check there as I have had these in the past, admitted I had to cancel twice due to illness ,but definitely wanted one done, they said that was fine , then the machine broke ,and still not mended that was from may, I was told by a lady there when I enquired to see a gp really in these days when it's hard to get a appointment!, also medication is never on time , I know covid etc has a part to play, but I am sure the machine could of been mended a lot at, also there have been times you can be waiting to be served and people have seen you then disappeared upstairs update I rang the pharmacy today to ask if the over 65 flu jabs are ready for my husband to have one. I was told by the man they are now in and that he can have it today as long as it is not between 1pm and 3pm . Which was fine. We went down at 12.40pm only to be told they couldn't do it as lack of staff, I then told them I was told it was OK to come down as the ma n said so. I spoke to a rude lady and told her Ithat I was told to come down for the flu jab for my husband. She said some one phoned in sick so she can't do it . I said then the man should of told me this ,instead of a wasted journey, then she said she could do it if we waited a hour !!!. This pharmacy as hone down hill. Where is Robert he was good. If he has left bring him back .we were disgusted with this. I am going to move elsewhere

Very poor experience with this pharmacy. After ringing the doctors with sinusitis, I was referred to the pharmacy. About 3 hours later a woman rang me back from the pharmacy, I spent around 10 - 15 minutes on the phone to her trying to understand a word she was saying. I had to ask her 4 or 5 times over and over again to repeat what she was saying as she could barely speak english and had a very strong accent. I dont believe she understood me either, as I tried to explain to her I had a cold the week before and I now had sinusitis for a week and it had deteriorated (nhs website advises contacting the doctors if no improvement or it gets worse after a week) and I was now off work. I think she tried to tell me to just continue with what I was doing, pain killers and to try some nasal spray, absolutely no idea what nasal spray as i could not understand her after 4 or 5 attempts. At this time I was very ill, so had no chance of understanding her! I googled what to do in the end and nhs website said to avoid nasal sprays if sinusitis gets worse as it can dry the sinuses out, which is a big no no if you have sinusitis. I told her I was no longer congested , just ill. Chills, temperature etc. After spending the whole weekend in bed suffering with what I can only describe as the worse infection I've ever had and no sign of it getting any better. I barely use the doctors as I'd have to be really bad to contact them, I always try and let illnesses run there course. But after the way I was treated here, I will just ring the doctor on day one and lie next time. Absolutely diabolical from a medical professional, who is supposed to help people get better, but I can see her killing someone at some point. You need to understand english and people need to be able to understand you, these could be serious life or death situations, it is not good enough!!! I'm now looking at a longer spell off work, which I will not get paid for and cannot afford to do! Terrible service, they should be ashamed of themselves!

Wanted to thank Rob and the staff at this pharmacy. Having been referred to the pharmacist by the doctors, I was very surprised by the amazing service they gave. From the phone call with Rob, to being asked to go and see him, within 2 hours, I had my medication and last night I had my first full nights sleep in 6 months. From the second I walked in the door, the atmosphere was such a pleasant one and everyone was beyond respectful and polite to me. Thank you so much for everything. I am beyond grateful. You're all a credit to the community and the NHS.
