Would recommend music in the waiting area as it’s very depressing listening to everyone’s breaths. Also need comfier chairs as sitting on needles would be more comfortable. Overall an amazing experience

I have been thinking about whether to write this but think I should. I liked the staff who attended to me and my issue has been resolved after not too long a wait there followed by a v very long one at A&E but now home. There was a somewhat disturbing aspect to the experience. There was a series of very audible calls going on during a wait of well over an hour during which a male doctor was making calls to patients on loudspeaker so that both he and the patient could easily be heard in the waiting room. In fact it was unavoidable as the GP was speaking very loudly. He had the door to the room from which he was speaking open. He was announcing himself as as a GP doing Sunday duty. We could hear names. Advice about someone's back passage. Really inappropriate as we might as well all have been present during the consultation as everything the patients said could be heard too. The doctor was jovial and friendly with patients but had no regard whatsoever for patient privacy. It was not accidental in my view as when a family went into the room withe their child the door was finally shut and the doctor was less audible. I am sure the staff could hear it but ignored it. One could not fail to hear it. I suppose I should have mentioned it at the time but was still awaiting treatment and advice and so not a good moment.

I come to walk in with a person who has heart problems instead of checking if she's alright or she needs to go to the hospital. They kept us 4h, and they took people who came after us. Staff wasn't really polite and they tryed to for person to ware the face mask even if she's exempt from wearing a face covering. I am not recommending this clinic they don't understand people need and they always have time.

Easy to find and get to and there’s a small car park just outside the Outpatients building (I’ve never had issues with finding a space when visiting the walk-in centre). It can get very busy and you can easily end up waiting over 3 hours when the whole waiting area is full. Last time I went I got there just after 10:30AM and it was quiet. I ended up waiting an hour to see a nurse, only 3 people ahead of me and from check in to check out, I was there for a total of 2 hours. They do try their best and I appreciate all the work that they do for us. It does sometimes feel understaffed but that’s no fault of the staff. It gets very uncomfortable when there’s annoyed and frustrated people with the receptionist and talking loudly complaining.

Went to Ashford walk in centre on Thursday last week with a knee injury.I was wheeled over to X-ray after only 10 minutes and back in the walk in centre within 30 minutes. Toby, nurse practitioner, was very understanding and quick to diagnose the problem and refer to orthopaedics. Orthopaedics called me the same afternoon with an appointment set up for the following week. Can’t fault the treatment or the staff. Excellent service.
