Aleena was kind and sweet to me and my 5 year old nephew without serving us at first. She was making her way to the toilets and chose to engage with us in a family friendly and compassionate way, which we enjoyed. We went to a check out and she was there again! she is wonderful and helpful to the customer, kind and understanding. She made our experience at the Park Gate Shirley store so wonderful today. She should be training others in comstomer experience and satisfaction. She clearly knows what she is doing and what represents ASDA well. I will always come back now because of her. I wanted to hug her but because of COVID I chose not to. Thank you for being there for an Aunty and her nephew today xxx

What I witnessed in Asda today was absolutely disgusting! It wasn’t even with me but it was so uncomfortable to watch. I was at the self service checkout and a member of staff was there. She was shouting down her head set saying to another member of staff she’s had enough she’s ill and to get someone to help her. To then snap at a gent with his daughter she walked away mid conversation then started shouting at the gent and the daughter she was no older than 10. I felt so sorry for the gent and his daughter it was so uncomfortable to watch. I’m not one to ever write a review but this was needed. Bear in mind this is the manager. There is no hope!
