Went in for an early shop (8am ish). I don't usually shop with Asda - preferring alternatives, but thought I'd give it a go as I was driving past on the dual carriageway. 3 gripes really, even allowing for not knowing the store's layout! A lot of the non-food stuff (toiletries etc) are on the lower floor, warranting additional time to go and find them - although I suppose if you were familiar with the store you'd know this. The cafe where I was hoping to get some breakfast before I wandered around, was closed and didn't open until 8.30am! Final gripe: there was only one manned checkout open when I got to the end. Another was eventually opened when the 5 people with their bulging trolleys started to become agitated. I think I'll stick to my regular superstore closer to home, with its earlier opening cafe! Sorry!

Always like going shopping here although when I've finished I'm in so much pain. But that's another story. Love looking at the clothing section before our food shopping one of the only places that go up to 4 xl so if you're a big lad you need to shop here. The only bug bear is that they keep moving stuff around so you can never find half he stuff.

Great shop with huge choice. Store clean and well kept. Most staff are lovely barring the grumpy lady on the tills on a Monday morning. If you can, avoid her till. She has brown hair in a ponytail. Very rude!!

I have no problems with this shop personally, I go in I get what I need and I leave. We do our weekly shop here or nip in here and there for items. The staff as far as I have seen have always being polite and kind with me, for a big store I imagine it is hard to maintain and I think they do a good job of it, unless I was purposely looking for flaws I can't say I would really notice any. They sell a bit of everything you could need, it is generally the go too for us, unless you want something really at random they probably have it here. The main downfall of this place for me actually seems to be mainly inconsiderate customers, the ones that leave a mess or are rude and or not as understanding of others and then blame the staff for it. Yes it may be there jobs but that doesn't mean you have to make it harder for them. Overall good place, just avoid going at mainly peak hours and you should be good to go, rarely is anything I need out of stock, prices are what you would expect shopping at Asda but they offer you reward points and plenty of other ways to earn back.
