I bought helium balloons to be filled at ASDA Castlepoint. A lady at the customer service filled all 3 up and did not have any bags to pack it in - I mentioned the practicality of transporting the balloons and how somewhat difficult it would be in a car and usually you get a bag (as I did last time at Poole ASDA not long ago). She seemed surprised by my suggestion and offered me to buy a 30p bag - even if I were to buy it - it wouldn't fit in! Thank you to a cleaner who offered his assistance and gave me a bin bag! On arrival home few hours later, one of the Ballons was not filled properly and deflated already but guess what, I wasn't given my receipt back as a clearly remember it being left next to the wraps/bags of the Ballons on the other side of the till. What a disaster!

Front of house manager (middle aged asian man with dark hair) was so rude. I approached the self service trolley area with £80 worth of shopping. He didn't say hi, or even acknowledge me. I am a regular, visit most evenings also with clients and spend about £450/month. I needed his help with clearing the bag for life weight error, then also again for alcohol. I almost walked out leaving my shopping. Took over 5 minutes for someone to attend the self service tills. We had to ask a grocery stacker to find a checkout supervisor etc. I will be ringing head office
