Unfortunately this is a very unprofessional, unsafe and dishonest agency, my siblings rented a property that was managed by this agency, and the property was unfortunately inhabitable covered in mould inc walls and flooring, and with multiple health & safety hazard. Problems reported multiple times to their managers, complaints team, never acknowledged or dealt with. Please do avoid this agency at any cost, if you want a stress free accommodation and want to live somewhere that your health is not at risk. I would particularly ask all the international students to avoid any property that is managed by this agency at any cost. They are really disrespectful and do take advantage of people who are new to the town.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Mark my portfolio manager is really great. I have been using this company for over 9 years to manage a number of different properties. They are extremely professional, fees are very reasonable and I have no worries about the properties as they always take care of everything that needs to be done. When property is empty they quickly and efficiently find a new Tennant. Nothing but a positive experience from the guys at Ascend. Probably one of the best agents around to manage properties.

DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY - if I could give zero stars I would. When Ascend took over our rental contract we had nothing but trouble from start to finish. Online portal to log repairs is rarely checked, we were without an oven for seven weeks, logged the fault multiple times before they even checked the portal to respond. It was only after calling the office directly did I receive a response. After moving out they tried to charge us £80 for an oven clean (that was never used, it was still in its original packaging).

I was asked to complete repairs on 2 properties since then not 1 person can answer the phone or reply to text or email possible it is 1 of the worst lettings agents I have ever dealt with my advice agent or tradesman be very careful if asked to do work for not holding out if I will get paid
