The website isn't as flashy as others but it gets everything across. For videos etc use their Facebook pages

Lots of potential with friendly staff. Unfortunately all of the holds felt really greasy and in need of a good clean. Also didn't help that alot of people (children and adults) blatantly walked under climbs

Lincoln finally has a bouldering wall! Now, you may not have ever heard of bouldering, or given it a go - but I cannot recommend it enough! You do not need to be fit, or experienced, you just need to show up and give it ago, and age or size can do it! Basically, it is a large selection of low climbing routes of different difficulties, from super easy to NAILS hard. You dont need ropes or harnesses as they do not go too high and there are big mats to land on. Everyone is SUPER nice, both the punters and staff are really welcoming! Just show up, hire some shoes and that's all you need to do. The staff will be happy to show you around. They have a few drinks and snacks and coffee if you fancy, and places to sit and chill and watch people whizz up the walls. I take my 12 and 14 year olds, and see other families there too. If you used to like climbing trees when you were little, you will love this. I have found this to be a way of keeping fit, without even feeling like I am keeping fit, it is just great fun! Go every week and within a few months you'll be checking out the tricky routes, you will have made some new friends and will have arms like popeye!!!

Visited here in half term, with 5 children aged 6 - 12 years. They all absolutely loved it! And the 6 year old was convinced she wouldn't be able to do it, but smashed it! As it's a big open building, I'd recommend spectators wear warm clothing. Climbers are expected to wear the climbing shoes, however sizes were limited, and a couple of our children got blisters, so would recommend thicker socks & gloves with grip . Staff were lovely, we were made to feel very welcome.
