Wish we had thoroughly read the reviews before using this service as it seems that many others have had a similar experience. We had asbestos in the floor tiles in 2 rooms and in ceilings. We asked specifically for the bitumen adhesive to be removed along with the tiles, at the higher cost than the encasing of the bitumen in paint. The ceilings were removed without issue, however the bitumen was encased rather than removed, and we were billed the higher cost for the removal. When we raised this, to their credit, they sent someone out a few days later to rectify, however instead of removing all of the bitumen, only half was removed, leaving us with a whole room left with encased bitumen, which we specifically did not want due to building work we have ongoing in the property. Not only has this set our building work back, but we are now having to pay another company to come and remove the remaining bitumen, leaving us out of pocket. In addition to this, we trusted the professionalism of the staff to be alone in our home as we were unable to be present. When we returned to the property, it smelt of smoke and we found a stubbed out cigarette in our hallway. When we raised all of these complaints with the company, we were given no apology or reassurance, and it has left us concerned about the quality of the work completed.
