My friend and I stayed here this weekend to treat ourselves as we live in London and wanted a day where we could lay by the pool. Once we arrived we followed the booking process of the pool and went up to use it, to our surprise there was nowhere to sit so we ended up sitting on a disabled ramp. There aren’t enough seats or loungers to accommodate guests although there is space for them. The booking system doesn't work as no one cared to check and the pool area was constantly overcrowded. There is no poolside service to order drinks so you have to awkwardly cross the bar in your swimwear whilst people are sitting down eating. I was forced to carry a heavy tray with bottles and drinks through a crowded bar. Ironically they allow glass bottles and alcohol by the poolside; however, they don't allow food due to health and safety reasons. As the rooftop is open to anyone customers who weren't part of the hotel were using and sitting by the pool (we overheard them). Customers from the bar were also walking up and taking photos. As it's open to the public we constantly had to keep checking our bags - there is no sense of security at all. We asked the bar staff/waiters numerous times if it was possible for us to eat something. Their response was that it's walk in and if a seat becomes available to 'grab it.' It was like a free-for-all and chaotic. It was humiliating having to watch and ask people if they were leaving - guests aren’t prioritised at all. Also there is no mention on the website that it is a walk in bar to the public. Usually bars/restaurants have systems in place to first clean tables and sit clients; the concept of a client having to seat themselves in a 4 star hotel is absurd. After waiting two hours we managed to 'grab a seat' however there were people waiting before us who were equally frustrated as we seated ourselves first. The table was not cleaned. Once the food arrived we noticed that the meat was oily and the cheeses were dry, it had obviously been sat in the heat before it arrived to our table. The 'patatas bravas' were chip cubes with ketchup and mayonnaise. Waiters were disorganised and uninterested, the service was slow, we had to ask numerous times for drinks we ordered. It is clear that there is no system in place, the whole thing is poorly managed and some staff were clueless. Moreover the breakfast was mediocre although the staff seemed more organised and welcoming. The gf bread which we ordered was dry/stale and the bacon was hard and greasy. The price of breakfast at reception is £25.00 however, if you're a small eater it works out cheaper to pay directly at the cafe. After paying our bill at reception we asked to speak to a manager to make a complaint about the service. The receptionist took it upon herself and she started to argue with us saying that the service was probably like that as it was a busy day. There was no empathy and quite frankly she didn't seem to care. The hotel and it's rooms are beautiful and has so much potential however it certainly is not luxury and the service is atrocious. Please do not waste your money here like we did.

Lovely hotel. Great location...close to everything.I think they missed a trick with the rooftop bar by setting the planting too high which obscured the views! We didn't have any hand wash in our bathroom hence the dropping of a star.

Artsy and bold, this property opened in December as a part of ambitious gentrification plans for Battersea Power station. Main highlight is the pool / jacuzzi on the 16th floor, where one can have spectacular views over power station and adjacent area, a very fresh perspective into the city. Pool rather on a smaller side, only 8 sun beds even though capacity announced is 28 (???). As recommended, we booked our time slot via an app and luckily decided just to check the pool before. That was a moment of truth-seeing all sun beds reserved, 10 people apparently including bar guests in the pool with 0 reservations in the app and not a single person checking room numbers/towels gave us a hint that mechanics do not work as intended and no one follows any rules. The only time pool was less empty was between 6-7 AM, during other time be prepared that you will not be able to swim let alone put your belongings anywhere. The way to the pool is via the bar so one goes in the bathrobe through the party crowd to see that some people (not hotel guests) are populating the pool premises. Not sure if this is supposed to be used like that, but expect no privacy. Adding to some unexpected minuses: very loud aircon doing strange noises from time to time + Fri-Sat a fire alarm went off twice, so we used emergency stairs (with no proper communication to what happened from the staff) On a positive note: eclectic interiors make you feel like you are at Wes Anderson movie, I really liked the lobby and room. Decent amenities: Kevin Murphy in the bathroom, Good Proper tea and cookies at the minibar. Some nice views over the railways or first residential buildings in London made by renowned architect Frank Gehry. Very nice mix. A lot of dining options, coffee shops, a park and Thames promenade nearby. Overall: a proper 4 star in a new hip area may be a great option if the pool situation gets improved 😉

I had been in contact with the radisson group regarding a discount for a stay in this property. I also contacted the hotel specifically and discussed the discount with a representative over the phone. On arrival at the hotel, I was left waiting in the lobby for over an hour without any explanation or communication from the hotel staff. The lack of acknowledgment and the complete absence of an apology were incredibly disheartening. As a guest, I expected to be treated with respect and courtesy, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of these expectations. After over an hours wait I was informed by Rhodric that the discount was not applicable.I had the intention of staying here as I am an artist myself and also a travel influencer. I would have happily still stayed here had the service been up to scratch or an apology made, but unfortunately the level of customer service is appalling and I understand now why there are so many negative reviews.

Had the pleasure of visiting the Art'otel Battersea Power Station and was thoroughly impressed by its unique aesthetic and world-class amenities. One of the highlights was an outstanding personal training session with Gaz in their gym wellness area. Gaz demonstrated his professional expertise and provided an engaging and tailored workout that left me feeling both challenged and invigorated. The gym itself is well-equipped, clean, and offers an inviting atmosphere that encourages both fitness and well-being. Another standout feature is the stunning art filled interiors by renowned Spanish artist, Jaime Hayon. The bold, colourful aesthetics breathe life into the space, transforming the hotel into a living art exhibit. Finally, the rooftop views are nothing short of mesmerising, offering a panoramic view of London that captures the city's blend of historical charm and modern vibrancy. All in all, whether you're a fitness enthusiast, an art lover, or just looking for a unique experience, Art’otel Hotel offers an impressive array of features that are sure to leave a lasting impression thus earning my unreserved recommendation for anyone seeking a unique and luxurious stay in London.
