I started this art class as a beginner, I am now in the intermediate class. The venue is amazing at Christchurch rowing club, beautiful environment, amazing mix of people and we all learn from each other as the skill mix is very varied. Kate our art teacher is amazing, very kind and considerate, Completely approachable and has a huge knowledge of all mediums. The 12 week lesson plan incorporates a wide variety of mediums and skills, from drawing, watercolour, acrylics and pastels. I have met many lovely people and my art is improving by the week.

I first did the evening online class which was a great introduction to Art Classes For Me. I haven't really done any art for 30 years and this was a brilliant introduction to various media under Kate's instruction. I now attend the lovely sociable class setting in Christchurch and thoroughly recommend it for beginners as well as the more advanced.

It's my second term in the Christchurch class, I'm enjoying the the friendly classes and made new friends. After lockdown I was stuck in a rut with the same way of painting, now thanks to Kate, I have gained confidence to experiment with different techniques and mediums, which I never would have tried, but we can in class.
