‘How to Paint – Portraits for Beginners’ Is a fabulous course which will give you confidence to paint portraits. Art Academy East is a really friendly and inviting place to study art and gain skills in painting.

I absolutely love learning painting at the Art Academy East! I finished level 2 at the Art Academy East and it give me great knowledge which I am expanding on in my art now.Recently I attended short studio courses Coastal scene painting and Portrature and found them great way to continue studying painting.I love that there is choice of themes for short courses.I can choose topics I am interested and study them in studio.Paint along short clases at AAE is my favourite as they are guided and explained by professional teachers.I have learned very much from AAE.Thank you for excellent teaching Art!

I've just completed a 3 week watercolour florals course and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were taken through some basic techniques then taught how to apply them to our paintings. The tutor was brilliant - very knowledgeable and made everything easy to follow. The atmosphere was really friendly and relaxed - I will definitely be back to do another course.
