See the review by Tristan Brunt from a year ago. The business has been purchased by another industrial powder coat firm - ESP Powder Coating. This is not the Armoutex of old. I had the price changed on me 3 times - website states "Chemical clean + Sandblast + Polish + Lacquer Frame + Fork (Standard) - £200", which I was told by the sales team had changed to £220 the day I called... then after visiting the workshop to decide colour, I was quoted £250, but was then called back later to be told the sandblast was a further £80 - net of VAT. When challenged I was told - we've changed our prices today... hmmm. So that's 250+80=330x.2=£396 for a single paint powder coat - all with an aggressive tinge of agg... and ace fork lift driving when you try to leave the site... fun fun fun. AVOID.

Avoid Armourtex and use somone else!!! I accepted a quotation for powder coating but when I went to drop off the parts they tried to triple the price. I tried to reasonably question this and the boss quickly got sarky and made me feel uncomfortable so I quickly left. I provided detailed pictures and info to get an online quotation from them so this is not acceptable at all. It was half a day in all to get down there and back. A massive waste of my time! Avoid Armourtex and use somone else!!!

Surprised at the bad reviews below but seems like they've taken the feedback on board. Had a great customer experience with these guys- very helpful, and gave me a great quote for jazzing up an old bike frame. I shopped around a fair bit and the price quoted was the best on the market. Thanks guys!

This place is a joke, the owner doesnt know the first thing about customer service, running a business and has a rotten attitude. First tried to rip me off on the price and then swearing at me over the phone when I decided to go somewhere else who quoted me more than half the price! To top it off, after swearing at me and telling me to collect my parts, it was left at the door on the ground without any care.Save your money, not worth going to a disgusting place like this. The people working there seems professional in their jobs, the owner is a fraudsters and a joker!!!
