Our family of 4 (+1 dog) stayed in Lodge 19 in August 2022. From booking to arrival the experience was first class. A telephone call the day before we were due to arrive was a lovely touch. Lodge 19 is set at the end of the track and up a small but steep hill. You drive past all the other lodges to get to it. The view from the deck is stunning across the Swale Valley. It is an uninterrupted view. The peace and quite is also noticable. There is no noise excpet that of the birds and the trees. For us this was perfect and exactly what was needed. The lodge is set on an almost perfect southerly aspect so you get the sunshine all day. If anything, the weather was really hot so the shade was hard to come by but this is really a first world problem. The lodge is really lovely. It has a luxury feel. There is an open plan room with kitchen, large table and sofa with huge floor to ceiling windows on two sides. There are 3 double bed rooms, 1 with ensuite and a family bathroom with separate shower and bath. There is also a small utility room with freezer, washing machine and microwave. The beds are really comfy too. Lots of towels are provided. There really are only 2 downsides or improvements that we could think of and are really minor. The decking could do with being completely fenced in as this may cause a problem with young children and dogs. The addition of a hot tub would also make this the perfect holiday. All in all. A brilliant week away.

My family and I recently stayed at Lodge 3 for 5 nights and we had a wonderful break. The property is set within 25 mins walk to Richmond. We arrived in the evening to find the property spotlessly cleaned and everything we needed to make it a home away from home. We would definitely recommend it. Thank you for making it such a wonderful experience.
