Worst experience ever! If I could I would give them minus stars I would. Choose other Argos if you can or don't buy from Argos at all. Horrible customer service, impolite staff. When I collected my items a very rude member of staff who told me I need a photo ID, fair enough, and KEPT SAYING IT while I was looking for my ID in my wallet. I herd him the first time, no need to be patronizing. I have EU citizenship, gave him my national ID and he told me he needs a driving licence. I told him it's a national ID, he went to ask a lady checked it as if it was fake and asked for my birthday. 3 TIMES! I had to repeat the date like a criminal. All fir a toolkit. Not worth. Net time I'll get it from Amazon.

I love Argos, would always prefer over Amazon, but there's a grumpy lady in this local store that doesn't like customers. Easily annoyed when you refuse to collect badly re-packed returns which were meant as gifts. She puts up a fight when you try to return an item. She tries to intimidate you out of your rights. You won't get that in a middle east bazaar! I guess she tries to do a good job for her employer but all she does is bad PR. Honestly when I go there I hope she won't be at the till that day, that bad it is.

Beware. When you purchase something from Argos and do other shopping in the Sainsburys store. Brought a switch game on line to collect in store. Collected it from the counter and walked away then decided to do some food shopping so in the middle of the shop put it in the a rack sac.. We then continued to shop and was aware security and police were buzzing about. We paid for the food and were then stopped by police & security as we were leaving the store accusing us of stealing something. We showed them the game and the electronic receipt and they said okay and we lefted without even an apology from the security and police. Incident very badly handled.

Went to collect very expense device from this store and the supervisor on the day 3rd May 2020 in the afternoon was very RUDE!! Telling me my phone I was collecting wasn’t essential when my whole life is on it!! Including very vital EMERGENCY INFORMATION SHOULD I COLLAPSE! I’ve a horrible chronic blood disorder and so does my daughter! Our protocol is on the phone should we need emergency hospitalisation which just happened a year ago.!! Whilst I’ve not mentioned her name here I’ve mentioned to date and time so figure... and get this woman some training!! Peoples phones are essential in the grand scheme of things!😳 PLEASE MAKE SURE THE SUPERVISOR/MNGR for the date and time gets the feedback!
