Don't believe their promotion of book in the morning and receive it in the afternoon - its not true. I ordered and received confirmation that the item would be there after 4pm - turned up and asked a young woman staff member and she said she'd check. After waiting 20 minutes waiting in the shop I asked another of her colleagues what was happening? He went and found her as she was serving other customers and forgot about me. Guess that sums up Argos Kilburn and Argos - customers don't matte!, So the story goes on....... I went back a couple of weeks later and bought the bar stool got it home and it didn't work gas element not working. So took it back today. Went in explained the problem but they had no more stock. Checked system and said they would reserve it in Camden who had stock. Went to Camden which took 45 mins a d when we got there they had no reservation or stock. Complete waste of time. Why does it have to be so frustrating dealing with Argos!!

This argos has gone down the pan then again what do you expect look at the location KILBURN. I only go here as a last resort. Most of the staff here are absolutely miserable and rude its like they don't want to be at work that is NOT my problem. ROSIE needs to learn some customer service and learn to be professional. Or needs to just retire!!!!! God help you should you bring back anything to return unopened and want to get YOUR hard earned cash back. ROSIE was behaving like the money was coming out of her pocket. This store the staff are always hiding round corners don't want to help you have to shout for their attention and they NEVER wear name badges but when you ask for their name to complain they fight to give it to you. All the staff that used to be nice including the managers are now gone and now left with miserable rude and unprofessional staff. Some staff members including Rosie think that because they have been there for years that they are entitled to be rude and the crazy thing is they still don't know about Argos policies. Returning anything is a test like you are at border patrol. Excellent customer service from Nila and I believe her name is Aisha (Egyptian with beautiful eyes) so many other names but can't remember.

Avoid this store. Staff are rude & haven't got a clue about consumer rights, then again neither has their CEOs office! An elderly gentleman returned his kettle, purchased about 2 months before & which had stopped boiling to boiling point. They took it out the back (seems to be a common thing), came back & said it was working fine, it was not. They refused to address the fault under warranty (in fact this item had a 2 year warranty) & said that he should have purchased a warranty??? No he should not, absolutely disgusting! They then tried to sell him the warranty at I believe approx £13 which he agreed to (at this point they had rattled him & he was confused). They then told him that he had to buy a new kettle as well (around £60), even more disgusting, he thankfully refused. I took video of the kettle, not boiling & contacted the CEO. They refused to replace the faulty item or do anything & the only option was to return the kettle for a full refund which he did. This IS NOT in line with the consumer rights act! There are various other not dissimilar instances where they have not been aware of consumer rights & have been obstructive in addressing faults, refunds etc. Well done Argos, as a result you have lost his custom, my custom & other people that we have told & they have told, we now only buy from Argos if we really need to & if the item is not available elsewhere or where there would be no need for a warranty, thankfully most items are available elsewhere.
