Not dog-friendly. I was told (politely to be fair) that my perfectly behaved dog wasn’t welcome. So I’ll go back to using Amazon. Store was empty - no surprise there lol

Store used to be good. But unfortunately has now hired staff who do not understand basic consumer law, and then the staff walk around with a huge chip on their shoulder. Rohan apparently is one of the store managers, who is completely clueless and useless in customer service, and does not understand basic consumer rights. Best to place orders online, as this branch has steadily gone downhill. I eventually managed to resolve my issue, but only with the great online team based in the UK. Who i have to say were amazing from start to finish. Argos needs to retrain people like Rohan, or give him a role which is not customer facing.

Firstly I’m astonished that a main Argos store does not have automatic doors considering people need to come in and out with large items. But that wasn’t even the main issue. I was at the store yesterday around 6:30pm and the staff were the most unhelpful and rude staff I’ve ever encountered. I had a tv that was faulty that I needed to return within the 30 day period and I was dealt with in such an unprofessional and negative manor. The staff just act like so uninterested and unbothered. Once the exchange was made and I was waiting for the replacement one of the male staff members was dragging a £400 tv along the floor from one side of the box when it was easily liftable, I’m astonished that such an expensive and delicate item was dragged along the floor from stockroom to shop floor like it was an empty box. Finally the cherry on the cake was having 3 members of staff without any customers stand there and watch me for a few minutes struggle to open the doors while trying to navigate a 50inch tv out the front door. They all watched me struggle and not one of them offered to even hold the door open. Disgusting

As I said nthe staff here are fine from my point of view bit if I were you I would not trust argos to deliver a product anymore

Why is this place called Argos Balham, the Argos nearest to Balham is in Sainsbury's next to the station... This should be Argos Tooting Bec!!! Also, if anyone from the company sees this, when you go to click and collect from the Sainsbury's Argos in Balham, instead of the collection code just showing invalid, would be really helpful if it told you that you are in the wrong location for pickup and where the correct one is.
