I can’t recommend Jake and the team highly enough. We got Jake and the team in to brick up an exterior/interior doorway, repoint the lower section of the house and add damp proof course. From the initial quote, communication was extremely clear throughout. Jake uses an electronic quoting system that allows for full transparency on costing and work being undertaken, a brilliant system. They arrived punctually on the day/time stated and undertook the work in a very professional manner to a high standard. We are really pleased with the finished work, the bricked up exterior doorway blends in well with the surrounding brickwork and the damp proofing is a great peace of mind as it had all previously deteriorated. The team also tidied up the area after completing the work to a high standard, making the place look better than it did before! Highly recommend getting in touch with Jake, we will be using him for future work which is the highest endorsement.

In June & July, Jake and his team repointed the front & side of Ladybarn Social Club, a former 1930's pub. It was a challeging job, both in terms of height and complexity of the joints, due to the mixture of Brick & Stone used in the construction and the size of the joints which varied between very large where stones had dropped over the past 100 years and long and deep ones with the width of less than a penny. Every joint, and I mean every joint was ground or chiselled out to a good depth, then refilled with good firm mortar with absolutly no smearing or discolouring of bricks or stone. Each Morter mix was identical in colour. Each night, the site was full cleaned down and everything secured meaning we could open safely. Before all the front internal walls were constantly damp, but now having had time to dry out, they are now bone dry - Jake is everything you need in a Tradesman - Polite, Trustworthy, Reliable and Knowledgeable.
