Disability Grant - BE AWARE!! Our boiler sadly died our local tradesperson quoted us a replacement price inc labour. We were aware that as my wife is disabled that we could potentially get a grant to replace boiler. After so much chasing we finally got a quote and the price once the grant deduction was taken off was still more than local tradespeople. Be aware of this you may think you are getting a good deal with a grant but you may well not be

I have been waiting since the 21st of December 2022 to have my cavity wall insulation removed and replaced!!! This company are absolutely rubbish! Appointments have been made 3 times, then no one turns up. My partner and I have waited in all day for each appointment made, that’s 6 days and no one has even had the decency to call us and advise us that no one is coming. I am disabled and suffer very badly in the winter with the cold and have just been left by the company to suffer all winter in a very cold house! Shame on you Aaran Insulation. He was very thorough, honest and extremely helpful, not only explaining why it would not be possible to install cavity wall insulation but also recommending other measures that could be taken to improve the energy efficiency of the property. The initial application process was painfully poor, a clear lack of communication and organisation within the company, however, once I wrote my initial 1 star review on here they really stepped up, I was contacted by Dan Wright who could not have been more helpful, time after time he organised and problem solved, he is the only reason why the work has now been complete (huge thankyou to you Dan, the 4 stars are for you). My neighbour had a similar issue with the initial process, they also contacted Dan who saved the day again! Now that the work is complete, there has been an enormous difference in heat retention, no doubt this will have a significant impact on our energy bills as well. The rendered finish to the external insulation is superb, not only is the house now efficient, it looks amazing! I have to also say a huge thank you to James Blackburn who has been organising the team of workers, his communication and organizing of the work has been flawless, he has helped us at every turn, the team of workers have been fantastic.

We used Aran for cavity wall insulation. Our installer Ryan was conscientious, professional, sensitive, and especially helpful with our upstairs neighbour, who was incredibly difficult to deal with on the installation day. I couldn't recommend Ryan or Aran more highly.
